OUR NEXT EVENT! JANUARY 23 AT THE WHITE PLAINS LIBRARY... AUTHORS & BOOKS WE LOVE!

REGISTER TODAY FOR AUTHORS WE LOVE!
It's that time of year again...time for another Role Mommy Event, but this time around, it's for parents only! On Wednesday, January 23 from 7-9 pm, we'll be kicking off a book event series hosted by the White Plains Library, located at 100 Martine Avenue, White Plains, NY. The topic for our first event will be Authors & Books We Love and we'll be featuring bestselling author Jane Green, who personally had me hooked when I read one of her first books, Jemima J and I've pretty much read every book she's written since! Her latest novel is called Second Chance and she'll be talking about her meteoric rise to the bestseller list as well as balancing her writing career while raising four children.
Also appearing will be novelist Gwendolen Gross, whose new book The Other Mother, made the Role Mommy list of favorites in 2007. This compelling read paints a realistic portrait of the intense divide between a working and stay at home mom and has received rave reviews from critics and readers alike! This is Gwendolen's third novel - her other books include The Field Guide and Getting Out.
Our third panelist is Pamela Dorman, Vice President and Editorial Director for Every Woman's Voice which publishes a host of great reads for women 35 and older. The imprint features a wide range of offerings from the controversial book by Leslie Bennetts, The Feminine Mistake to the side-splitting humor of Judy Gold and Kate Moira Ryan who penned, 25 Questions for a Jewish Mother, to adjusting to life when your kids fly the coop in The Empty Nest by Karin Stabiner, among a host of new releases, including the poignant new memoir, The Middle Place, by breast cancer survivor and mom, Kelly Corrigan. Dorman has the magic touch when it comes to selecting works that will resonate with readers. In fact, prior to launching Every Woman's Voice, Pam was a top editor at Viking Press where she edited some of the most memorable novels of the last two decades including The Secret Lives of Bees, The Mermaid's Chair, The Memory Keeper's Daughter and Bridget Jones Diary, among many others!
So join us for a wonderful night with these amazing women - we'll have refreshments, some goodies and a book signing too! Books will be available for sale at the event by Borders. Seating is limited so please Click Here and register today!
